Pet Help Terms of Use

By using the Pet Help app, you agree to these terms with Wickd Smart LLC ("I", "me").

What Pet Help is

Pet Help is a directory. It shows nearby veterinary emergency rooms, marks the ones whose 24/7 hours are verified, and has Call and Directions buttons.

Pet Help is not veterinary advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and it will never tell you whether your pet needs care or how urgent a situation is. Those are questions for a veterinarian. Always call a facility before you drive to it to confirm it is open and can treat your animal. Hours change, and a clinic that takes dogs and cats may not take your bird, reptile, or rabbit. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or a poison hotline directly.

Accuracy of the listings

A verified listing's hours were checked against the facility's own website or its emergency certification, and the listing shows the date it was verified. That date records what the source said then. It is not a guarantee about today.
Listings without the verified badge may come from map search, the directory, or a saved copy. They are labeled "call to confirm" because their current 24/7 hours are not confirmed.
The directory is provided as is. Facilities close, move, change phone numbers, and change hours without notice. Confirm by phone before relying on anything you see here.

Pet profiles and sharing

Pet profiles and the ER handoff card are yours. They are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. I can't read, access, or recover them. The Privacy Policy has the details.
If you share your pets with family or a pet sitter, you are responsible for who you invite and for what they can see or change. Sharing happens directly between iCloud accounts through Apple. I'm not a party to it and can't undo it for you.
Keeping a profile accurate is up to you. Update the card before you hand it to emergency staff.
Household sharing is for looking after the pets. Don't put anything abusive, harassing, sexual, unlawful or unrelated to the pets into a profile you share. If someone shares that kind of content with you, you can leave or block their household in the app and report it to me. I can't see or remove records in their iCloud, but reports about the same household are grouped so I can see a pattern.

Acceptable use

Use Pet Help for finding care for your own animals. Don't scrape, bulk export, or republish the facility directory, don't probe or abuse the service, and don't reverse-engineer the app.

Reports you send me

If you report a wrong listing, add a vet or ER I'm missing, or send feedback, you give me permission to use what you sent to correct and improve the directory, including in the version shipped to everyone else. Please don't include anything confidential. Send facts about facilities, not about people.

Accounts, purchases and your data

Pet Help has no accounts to create and nothing to buy: no subscription, in-app purchase or paid tier. Deleting the app removes, on that device, your pet profiles and saved places; anything synced to your own iCloud is managed in your Apple ID settings. To clear what the app holds elsewhere, including your iCloud copies and any reports you sent, use Settings → About Pet Help → Delete all my Pet Help data in the app before you delete it; the Privacy Policy says what that action covers.

Disclaimers and liability

Pet Help is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that a listing is accurate, current, open, or suitable for your animal. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wickd Smart LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or from reliance on any listing, and Wickd Smart LLC's total liability is limited to US$50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
