Wickd Smart LLC ("I", "me") publishes Pet Help.
Short version: Pet Help has no accounts, analytics, ads or third-party SDKs. Your pet records and saved places sync through your own iCloud. Besides that, data leaves your phone only when:
This website is served by Cloudflare, which may load its own performance beacon on some pages. That is the website, not the app.
Pet Help uses your location to find and sort nearby vets and ERs and to estimate drive times. It is never sent to me and I don't store it; I run no server that could receive it. You can skip location and search a city or address instead.
The app uses Apple's MapKit to add results I haven't verified, look up a city or address you type, calculate drive times, search for a practice by name (when you pick your regular vet or add a missing one), and show place cards. Those requests go to Apple and fall under Apple's privacy policy. I never see them, Apple sends me nothing from them, and no identifier of mine is attached. With location off, the app never reads your position.
If Google Maps or Waze is installed, Directions lets you pick one. That app gets the destination's coordinates only, not your position or any identifier of mine. From there its own privacy policy applies.
Pet profiles and their photos (including vaccination record photos) are stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account. If you share with your household, the data moves between your iCloud and theirs through Apple. I can't read, access or recover any of it. Household members appear by the name or invitation email Apple gives the app; that stays on the device and isn't sent to me.
If you block a household, this device keeps its owner's iCloud id (an opaque string), the name or invitation email Apple gave the app for them, and the date you blocked it, so it can turn down that owner's invitations. While it's blocked, that household's pets and saved places are hidden on this device. Your other devices still show them until you block the household there too. The list stays on this device and isn't sent to me. Unblocking removes a household from it, and Delete all my Pet Help data clears it.
Places you star, and their optional notes of up to 60 characters, are stored the same way, alongside your pets. People in your household see your saved places, and you see theirs if they share back. I can't read them.
When you report a listing, add a missing vet or ER, report a shared pet, or send feedback, I receive:
Reports are stored in Apple CloudKit under your iCloud identity. I can see that identity and use it only to spot patterns across reports and fix listings. The app doesn't attach your location or your own contact details, so please leave personal contact info out of the note unless you want to send it.
If your device isn't signed in to iCloud, the app offers a pre-filled email instead. You can edit or discard it, and nothing is sent unless you send it. It carries the same details plus your device model and iOS version, and I get your email address, as with any email.
I can't see or remove pet records in someone else's iCloud. A report lets me track a pattern by household. You can leave that share from the same screen, or block the household from the pet's screen.
I keep a report or feedback until the listing is fixed or the feedback is handled, and never more than twelve months, then delete it from CloudKit. Email stays in my mailbox while the thread is open and is deleted when it closes.
Settings → About Pet Help → Delete all my Pet Help data removes, from this device and your iCloud, your pets, their records and photos, and your saved places and notes. It also deletes the reports sent from the iCloud account you're signed in to, ends your household sharing (people you invited lose access), takes you out of households you joined (their owners keep their own records), and clears your preferences and blocked households on this device. If iCloud can't be reached, it still removes your pets and saved places from the device, tells you what it couldn't finish, and you can run it again. It can't reach email you sent me or Apple's map requests. To have a report deleted another way, email pethelp@wickdsmart.com with roughly when you sent it and what it was about. There's no account to close.
Deleting a pet or saved place you own removes it here and syncs the deletion to your iCloud and household when connected. A saved place from another household can stay visible after you remove your copy, and copies others saved or exported stay under their control. Leaving a household share stops its records coming to you. Preferences live only on your device and go away when you delete the app or run the delete action.
The directory is my own curated dataset, downloaded from a public Apple CloudKit database I own. Downloading it sends no personal information.
Pet Help is a directory, not medical advice. Always call ahead to confirm a facility is open and can treat your pet.
